Events for September 2024

There is still time to register! If you are a person dealing with “adulting,” a person who is going to be “adulting,” a parent or family member, or a community organization that supports the transition process for individuals with special needs, this is the event for you!

Our Pensacola FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities office, in collaboration with the Empowerment Parent Resource Center, the Family Network on Disabilities, the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources Center, and Autism Pensacola, Inc, would like to invite you to attend a free, full-day transition summit on September 14th from 9 am – 4 pm.

This summit bring together local resources and agencies that support young adult and adults with disabilities. Panel discussions followed by breakout sessions will provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities, their families, community members, and professionals with information on how to promote healthy, meaningful, productive lifestyles for young adults and adults with disabilities.

Pre-registration by 9/6 is required to reserve a lunch. If you are planning on having more than one person attend, please register each person individually so they can be included in the lunch count.
