Autism Pensacola’s Kids for Camp is opening its doors to area educators for a morning tour of the flagship program June 25. Teri Szafran, Escambia County School District ESE Director, and Debbie Keremes, Autism Pensacola board member and Training Director for Kids for Camp, are hosting this opportunity for teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and college students pursuing degrees in educational fields.
Autism Pensacola’s Kids for Camp is a data-driven program that uses best-practice techniques, specifically Applied Behavior Analysis, to contribute to both the skill acquisition of the individuals with autism and the continuing education of the teachers, support staff, and college students who work with those with autism. Autism Pensacola is committed to continuously improving the camp experience, thus remaining a model of quality and integrity to the community.

Schedule of events
9:45 a.m. – Tour of the Teen and Young Adult camp at Washington High School, 6000 College Parkway Pensacola 32504 (Please park at the athletic entrance of WHS. Enter the camp hallway via the 3rd door off the sidewalk.)
10:35 – 11:10 a.m. – Coffee with Teri Szafran, Debbie Keremes, and other board members. Hosted at our Elementary campus, Holm Elementary, 6101 Lanier Dr. Pensacola 32504 (Please meet near the audiology clinic on the side of the school near Workman Middle School.)
11:15 a.m. – Tour of the Elementary campus begins, Holm Elementary.
