Parent Empowerment Program is a multi-session series that provides a hands-on learning opportunity to explore the basics of applied behavior analysis (ABA). The program is designed to help participants apply these techniques in working with children who struggle with problem behaviors, language deficits, and/or social impairments. PEP is taught by a board-certified behavior analyst and is offered in partnership with Pediatric Rehabilitation of The Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart Hospital, which includes the Autism Center at Sacred Heart Hospital. Registration is through the hospital. Classes are held at Sacred Heart Hospital, in the Medical Office Building Conference room. Autism Pensacola will offer childcare and limited financial aid.
