Christmas support for local families

Autism Pensacola is once again supporting families living with autism in our local community with a Christmas assistance program for families in need. Applications must be completed by Nov. 15, 2018.

Creating inclusivity in recreation focus of one-day training

For the seventh year, API will host Aron Hall, director of programs for Let’s All Play, to train organizations on the principles of inclusion. This FREE event is set for October 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. The daylong training is open to the public – targeting summer programs, day cares, afterschool programs, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, sports programs, etc. To register for this event, please visit http://bit.ly/APInclusion.

Sweet Frog fundraiser – Gulf Breeze

Sweet Frog Night in Gulf Breeze has been rescheduled! Come see us Nov. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Gulf Breeze location, 3749 Gulf Breeze Pkwy. Twenty percent of the evening's proceeds will benefit our organization, supporting families living with autism in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. 

Caregiver Dinner and Annual Meeting – Nov. 13

Come join Autism Pensacola for this year’s Annual Evening Meeting and caregiver dinner sponsored by Sonny’s BBQ! The meeting will be held at the Pollak Training Center, Arc Gateway, located at the corner of Fairfield Drive and 10th Avenue, at 6:00-8:00 p.m., November 13.

FBISF Autism Awareness night at Sunset Cork Room

This Wednesday, Nov. 14, the Sunset Cork Room in Gulf Shores, AL, is hosting a Benefit for Autism Pensacola as part of the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival. There will be a silent auction, as well as music by singer-songwriters. The auction items will be available for viewing beginning Tuesday evening, Nov. 13. Auction will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. 

Thirty-One Bags fundraiser supports end-of-year campaign

Thirty-One Gifts senior consultant, Deborah Sanders, is hosting a November sale to support Autism Pensacola. If you order a medium utility tote with her through the end of the month, the cost is $35 (includes shipping). A large utility tote is $41 (includes shipping). All items purchased through her web site on the Autism Pensacola party will receive a percentage of the proceeds.
