Join the PMA for Family Sensory Day on November 18, 2018. Family Sensory Day is open and free to families with children on the autism spectrum or with related sensory processing disorders. Family Sensory Day is a way for families to actively engage with the museum through participation in art and movement activities in the galleries.
A Sensory Break Room will be available for those who may need it and our resident therapy dog, Washaki, will be walking around and providing assistance. Family Sensory Day is open to all ages and all abilities.
Family Sensory Day is sponsored by a grant from Greater Gulf Coast Arts Festival.
